During a lifetime spent “Promoting Professionally Recycled Autoparts and Real Carbon reducing ideas" one fact is undeniable “All the best Auto Recyclers around the world I have met are in a Recyclers Association”.
I have owned and operated the Find-A-Part system (FAP) in the UK for over 30 years and the standard of Parts Supplier is by default required to be high, because my company’s reputation is key to our success.
That is why my latest project "The Recyclers Rolling Rolodex / The Green Footprint Convoy" requires that Auto Recyclers who wish to advertise on the Convoy Vehicles or be involved in “Green Footprint” must be a member of a recognized Association to participate.
It’s an unfortunate fact of life that "If you buy parts from a company with a Junkyard mentality you have a good chance that you will get Junk Parts".
I can speak with some authority as FAP has over the last 30 years spent a fortune helping people who have spent good money on parts and ended up with Junk and then contacted my company “The Real Find A Part”.
It is frustrating that over the last 30 years, my staff has had to spend inordinate amounts of time dealing with very irate people who are out of pocket who unfortunately used some company that looked like mine!
Recyclers Associations by default have a reputation, code of practice etc so by default when buying "Used Auto Parts" dealing with Recognised Association Members is the "Best bet"
Green Footprint makes no direct monies from providing Parts buyers or indeed Associations with these Association Members Guides.
The reward is knowing that "Green Footprint" has helped guide Parts Buyers in what we believe is the right direction to find parts that are “Money and Environment Savers”.
Correctly Produced Used Parts are virtually Carbon Zero! Lets all make more use of them! |
